About LariDea
A playful home for families where safe exploration meets great coffee and warm smiles.
We named the playground after our two daughters.
Ilaria and Amedea are the reason this place exists. We wanted a room where they could climb, slide and make friends while we sat down with a proper coffee. Pattaya did not have one, so we built it.

Ilaria + Amedea
LariDea
Ilaria gave the first half. Amedea gave the second.
Everything else in the building grew out of those two names.
Why we built it
"Pattaya is hot for most of the year and wet for a good part of it. Families here need a room that works indoors on a hot afternoon and on a day when the rain does not stop. We looked for one with a coffee bar worth sitting at. We could not find it.
So in December 2025 we opened LariDea at the Again Project, next to Terminal 21. Two floors. Ages 1 to 7. Soft play downstairs, trampolines and a zipline upstairs, and a counter where the coffee is made properly rather than as an afterthought to the playground.
The rules here are the rules we use with our own children. That is the whole standard. If we would not leave Ilaria or Amedea in a room, that room does not open.
We are still the ones on the floor most days. If something is wrong, tell us at reception and we will fix it while you are still in the building."

Why Pattaya

Rainbow Pony and Astro Pony
Two mascots, two floors. Children learn which pony belongs to their age long before they learn the floor number, so "I'm going to Astro today" means something to a five-year-old.
Ages 1 – 3
Rainbow Pony takes the ground floor
This is where a first visit usually happens. Soft shapes to climb, a ball pit, a pony carousel, building blocks and a corner for crafts. Reception and the café counter sit on the same floor, so a parent is never more than a few steps from a toddler who has decided the slide is too big after all.
Rainbow Pony also names our 30-day unlimited membership.
Ages 4 - 7
Astro Pony takes the floor above
Designed with a specialist who works with children. Trampolines, a zipline, a foam pit, climbing walls and tunnels, a spiral slide, a suspended net with yoga balls and an interactive wall. The birthday stage is up here, and so is the nursery room.
Astro Pony also names our 60-day, 16-entry membership. The six-month version is Smart Pony.
What we promise every family
These are operating rules, not slogans. Ask any of our team to walk you through them on your first visit.
Safe entry and monitored exit
Every visit starts at the front desk. We register your child's name and age, plus the name and phone number of the adult responsible for them
Wiped hourly, deep-cleaned daily
High-touch surfaces are wiped every hour and toys rotate through sanitation. A full deep clean runs before opening and after closing. Today's checklist is on the wall and you can ask to see what has been signed off.
Ages kept apart on purpose
A one-year-old and a seven-year-old do not share a play structure here. Ground floor is 1 to 3, second floor is 4 to 7, and our team holds that line even on a busy Sunday.
First-aid ready
The floor team is first-aid aware and trained on incident response. Kits are stocked, every incident is written up, and evacuation routes are posted where you can see them.
Socks are required for children and adults, on both floors, every visit. If you forget, we sell them at reception for 50 baht. Prices on site are subject to 7% VAT.
The people on the floor
We do not publish staff names and photographs here. Shifts change, and the person looking after your child today should introduce themselves to you at reception rather than in a grid on a website.
Play supervisors and nannies
On both floors through opening hours. They know the zones, the rules and which child is wearing which wristband. Nanny time can be booked by the hour.
Baristas
On the ground floor, making coffee, smoothies and fresh juice. The café is run as a café, not as a vending corner next to a playground.
Activity hosts
Free craft sessions three times a day at 11:00, 15:00 and 18:00, plus paid workshops with materials included, run on request.
Party hosts
For birthdays on the upstairs stage. They handle décor, games and timing so the parents get to sit down at their own child's party.
Cleaning
Working through the day on the posted schedule, not only after the doors close.
Management
Usually on site. Founders included, most days.
Everyone on the floor works in Thai and English. Nobody takes a first shift before being trained on check-in, check-out and the incident procedure. We hire for patience first. Coffee and craft skills can be taught in a week.

Fit-out starts at the Again Project
Two empty floors next to Terminal 21, and a drawing of what they were going to become.
September 2025
Rainbow Pony and Astro Pony meet Pattaya
We publish the plan: soft play for 1 to 3 downstairs, active play for 4 to 7 upstairs, story time, workshops and a proper coffee bar.
December 2025
Pre-launch
Local families and Thai press walk the finished space before the doors open to everyone.
16th December 2025
Open daily, 11:00 to 20:00
First paying families, first birthday party, first flat white.

Memberships, parties and nanny hours
Rainbow, Astro and Smart Pony memberships, birthday packages on the upstairs stage, bookable nanny hours and a daily activity programme.
